Cucumbers can also help cellulite

Cellulite is a fat deposit beneath the skin. The main symptom is the appearance of lumpy, dimpled flesh on the thighs, hips, buttocks, and belly.

Cucumber juice contains phytochemicals that aid in the production of collagen. Collagen is an abundant protein secreted mainly by connective tissue cells. The initial secretion from the cells is called procollagen. The fiber like protein is responsible for skin elasticity and removes cellulite.

Collagen strengthens connective tissue. In the scope of reducing cellulite, collagen is able to smooth the dimpled appearance of cellulite. It is not necessarily reducing the fat as much as it is dispersing the fat throughout the skin evenly by strengthening the skin that was contorted by the cellulite.
